The 8th Annual Bryan Awards feature the best of what television has to offer.  Started in 2001, the Bryan Awards have lauded the best of what television has offered for the past seven years.

The Bryan Awards will have a huge class of performers inducted into the Bryan Awards Hall of Fame, this year, ranging from soap opera stars to science fiction icons, from game show hosts to sitcom stars.  This year’s huge class will not disappoint the television geek at heart.  Next year, the Bryan Awards will have a special “Best of the Decade” that will be part of the 9th Annual Bryan Awards in 2009.

This year, new categories were introduced in the New Series Categories for Writing, Directing, and Guest Stars.  In addition, two new categories have been introduced, Outstanding News Host/Moderator and Outstanding Sport Event.

The Bryan Awards Eligibility Period lasts from June 1, 2007 to May 31, 2008 for all programming, with the exception of programs who wrapped up their seasons before June 15, 2008, and sporting events prior to June 15, 2008.

The Creative Arts Bryan Awards will be held on Friday, August 29, 2008, and the Bryan Awards Ceremony will be held on Sunday September 7, 2008, with the Hall of Fame Induction taking place on Saturday September 6, 2008.
